Who teaches
Marina Leal has a degree in Music from UFBA and a postgraduate degree in Cantoterapia. A trained choir conductor, she combines solid vocal technique with a warm teaching style, built over more than 10 years working with students of every age and level.
Here the priority is understanding your voice as it is today, and building a real path of growth together, through real practice, lesson after lesson.
Ateliê da Voz Marina Leal
The Ateliê is Brazilian and fully online. We work with students in Brazil and with Brazilian women living abroad, including a growing number in the United States.
Living abroad doesn’t have to mean giving up your music, your language, or your connection to your own voice. Lessons happen over video call, on your own time zone, with no commute and no need to find a Portuguese-speaking teacher nearby.
How it works
Everything starts with the Diagnóstico Vocal, a 30 to 40 minute session where we assess together where your voice stands today (breathing, pitch, confidence) and map out a clear path from there.
After the diagnostic, private lessons continue as Vocal 30 or Vocal 50, depending on your goal and your schedule. Times are arranged directly with you, built around US time zones, so there’s no guessing game about whether the schedule will work out.
Who this is for
- Brazilian women living in the United States who miss singing and expressing themselves in Portuguese
- Anyone who thinks they were never “born with the voice” for singing and never got a real chance to test that
- Singers who already perform but want more pitch control, power, and confidence
- Anyone who feels self-conscious singing in front of others and wants to work through that at their own pace
What students say
“I’ve been Marina’s student for a year, my singing has grown so much, and I’m endlessly grateful for everything I’ve learned with her. Marina is extremely professional.”
